The Wines
2021 Petite Sirah
Niemi Vineyard, Redwood Valley
Neimi bears the fruit for both Trinafour Petite Sirah and Carignane.
The head-pruned Petite Sirah was planted in 1998 without irrigation. These young vines took a full seven years to establish roots on St. George before setting a commercial crop in 2005, Trinafour’s inaugural vintage.
The dry-farmed Carignane, also head-pruned, was planted in the mid-1960s.
Both benchland blocks are on Red Vine Series soils. Alvin Tollini uses traditional cross-cultivation methods to farm these lovely vines. Typically, yields are 2-3 tons per acre for both varieties.

2023 French Colombard
Casa Verde Vineyard, Redwood Valley
Casa Verde is a field blend of Carignane, Grenache, a mystery black grape or two and 230 randomly planted French Colombard vines. Planted in 1944, organically farmed vines are head-pruned and dry-farmed.
Peter Chevalier resuscitated this neglected vineyard in 2012, using cultivation, organic composting, cover crop rotations and tons of loving attention. The black grapes find their way into Rosso Misto. The Colombard vines are harvested separately for a varietally labelled white wine.

2023 Semillon
Lolonis is one of the diamonds of the appellation. Dry-farmed and certified organic, Lolonis dates to the 1940s. Alex draws from the 199 Semillon vines planted amongst two acres of old vine Valdigue.
Athan and Denise Poulos (nee Lolonis) took over the property in 2010, with third generation Denise keeping it in the family. It’s a labor of love.
